Company History

Baldhead Systems was founded in 1994 and has experienced substantial revenue growth and increase in staff numbers in each year of operation. Based in Toronto, Canada, Baldhead Systems provides development services to organizations from the middle of the Pacific Ocean, across North America and into Europe.

We were the first company to create a secure mobile banking application and the first company to create a realtime mobile stock trading application for Blackberry, Palm and Pocket PC.

Baldhead Systems provides customers with services that include Application Development, Distributed Data & Database Implementations, Web-based Development Services, Data Mart & Data Warehousing, and Internet/Intranet design & construction. As a result, Baldhead Systems likes to think of itself as a software-based "solution provider".

Baldhead Systems is built on people of exceptional skill and knowledge, and therefore is an experienced and progressive company with a successful track record in providing timely and efficient solutions to its customers. It is a company that believes in the development of committed long-term relationships with its client base.

In 2000, Baldhead Systems formed a partnership with the Royal Bank of Canada, to form a new company called Sona Innovations Inc. The new company was a result of Baldhead Systems' forward thinking and innovative ideas, and the partnership with the Royal Bank of Canada allowed this to flourish as a new entity that specializes in wireless applications for mobile devices.
