TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST

SUMMARY

We are seeking candidates for positions ranging from entry level all the way through to upper level management in the Information Technology Industry.

The opportunities are typically a combination of an outside/inside sales role. Our company within the Hardware / Software industry provides you with the tools you need to develop long term relationships with customers including Executive Support, Consulting, Systems Engineering, Web Design, Maintenance and Hardware Procurement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Work with Executive Management and Support Staff to develop and grow customer base within territory.
  2. Qualify accounts and opportunities.
  3. Hardware Sales.
  4. IT Services Sales.
  5. Generate leads and maintain accounts.

While many positions require some previous sales experience, there are also entry-level positions available, as training will typically be provided.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  1. All candidates should possess strong communication skills.
  2. Demonstrate an ability to quickly learn new information and be able to verbally communicate a pattern of success.
  3. Individuals have been either experienced IT Sales Professionals in Hardware or Software products or very often, have been from a variety of other industries. This includes, recent graduates, account representatives and customer service representatives. We will often hire people from a variety of academic and/or professional backgrounds.

The I.T. sales positions have a starting salary of between $45,000 and $80,000 per year. Average bonus and commission adds an additional $20,000 to $30,000 per year.
